I got my OwlCrate box for May in the mail this week. I, again, figured out what they book was ahead of time and I was really intrigued this month. I’ve seen the book pushed around Instagram lately and was really interested in reading, but I don’t think that it would have been something I would have necessarily picked up off the shelf. I’m really glad it was included because now I’ll get to read it for certain.
May 2018’s box was: Fight Like A Girl. This box was inspired by characters from A Court of Wings and Ruin, Children of Blood and Bone, Harry Potter, and Six of Crows.
This box included:
- “When in Doubt, Go to the Library” enamel pin inspired by Hermione from Harry Potter by Out of Print
- Double-sided tassel bookmark inspired by The Wrath and the Dawn and Flame in the Mist designed by Indigo Eleven
- Wall Hanging inspired by Feyre from A Court of Thorns and Roses by Evie Bookish
- Bath Bomb inspired by Zélie from Children of Blood and Bone by Whipped Up Wonderful
- Art Print inspired by Inej from Six of Crows illustrated by Mélanie Bourgeois
- Catching Stars by Cayla Keenan. An exclusive OwlCrate edition from Oftomes Publishing
- Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young. An exclusive signed OwlCrate edition with a letter from the author and an exclusive enamel pin.
This box was super great for a whole bunch different reasons. The main book was super intriguing to me in the first place. It included a second book. The wall hanging and prints were gorgeous. The Hermione pin is one of my favorites quotes from the series. Overall, this was a great box!
